Description: We're waiting for flyer from Promoter. Johnny G: Elli B (hd owner), myself and Paul W (one of the Tsubi founders, at the time was warehouse manager for hound dog) came up with a concept to install Djs in the stores, a first for Australia, believe me I was lugging a ridiculous amount of gear to setup in their mid city store to test the concept…it kicked off from the get go and with Elli’s amazing foresight and willingness to take risks with Paul’s fashion savvy we can fast forward to a concept involving the launch of the new hound dog seasons clothing as a parade incorporated into a party, with a cd release for every event….the next few of these were amazing at underground venues around sydney and peaked with st james station being the venue, a few thousand people partying till 6 am as people were coming to work, exiting the trains outside the heavy acoustic curtains hung from the ceiling as people cut loose inside…..it was a unique one off event that I have not seen the likes of since….the party “transcend” was of legendary status, I played to a screen of smoke knowing that there were a couple of thousand people going for it, all I could see were hands piercing the smoke lol….
