Description: What a party. Seemed so commercial at the time, and now we have parties the likes of Field Day. Question: Is it true that the proceeds taken on the night were lost/stolen? Amazing lighting rig on the main hall, fantastic colour lazer in the smaller second hall. Admin Answer: See our interview with Dave Coxon. JLT Ten thousand people attended. The setup was amazing. Drew Muirhead (DMC) went to crazy efforts to put this party on. There were over a hundred and ten GoldenScan Mk 2′s and countless Miniscans shipped to Australia as well as three or four killer 10 watt full-colour lasers that all went into making this huge pyramid stage out of lights! The production dwarfed anything anyone had experienced before 📷 📷. There were many new comers to make up the large crowd and I found most to be extended friends of the many familiar faces I knew. Its scale was just Colossal! The second room was a good place to come back down to earth, as the gravity of the production, in the main room was like looking into the heavens. The DJ’s played all the current rave hits of the time; the production quality was second to none. The vibe was a little lacking due to so many new comers that made up the large crowd.
